Medical Weight Loss

Semaglutide

Semaglutide is an FDA-approved weight loss injection. It is a first of its kind and is a safe highly effective hormone-based weight loss medication. It mimics the hormone glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). This hormone targets areas in the brain that regulate appetite and helps you eat less. Semaglutide increases insulin secretion while slowing down how fast your stomach empties food helping you feel full longer.

How It Works

Semaglutide is given in a weekly subcutaneous injection. You come to the office for your appointment and first shot. You can either come weekly for the injection or take your next 3 injections home with you, there is no cost difference between these options. 4 weeks later you have the next appointment to discuss your results and increasing your dosage. The maximum dosage is typically reached by month 5 of therapy. We offer a compounded form of Semaglutide compounded with the vitamin B12.

Our first month of therapy is $300 (Semaglutide 0.25 mg)

Second month $350 (Semaglutide 0.5 mg)

Third month $400 (Semaglutide 1 mg)

Fourth month $450 (Semaglutide 1.7 mg)

Fifth month and beyond is $500 per month (Semaglutide 2.4 mg)

After you have reached your weight loss goals we will discuss maintenance options with you. You may either remain on the Semaglutide at a lower maintenance dose, taper down the dose or stop taking the medication altogether.
